MultiBurst
Integrating MiChroSat can present two challenges to a company trying to integrate into an existing logger / transmission system:
Firstly, integrating the modem with an existing RT / RTU / Logger is a relatively easy proposition, MiChroSat supports AT commands and so presents little challenge to a company who have already deployed Cellular modems as their means of data transmission.
However transmitting data over the Iridium satellite network using the same protocol as that already used on a much faster cellular network is not always advisable. Rather than having to create a new information gathering / delivery solution MultiBurst from Wireless Innovation provides a hosted “translation/mediation” service which allows data be be received in one format and converted into one or more of a wide range of formats (HTTPS, FTP, SQL, SMS, VPN Tunnels amongst others). This then allows data to be transmitted in the most efficient manner whilst being delivered in the format required.
Multiburst is provided as a redundant system and allows users to select one or more output options, and can be linked with MiChroVault to allow automatic back up of data to be performed.
